Sweater Love

Today I wanted to be warm all day long (even though the weather got nice in the afternoon). So I made it a very comfortable sweater, leggings, and booties day. However, I mixed it up a bit with tribal print and a cutout sweater.

I buy a lot of stuff from Forever 21. I'm kind of broke all the time so I guess 10 dollar pants just really appeal to me. Sorry if it bores you.

Desert Rose Dress

Hey guys!

So the weather here is being really annoying. It's freezing in the morning but heats up in the afternoon. Gotta start layering because Autumn is on its way! (But I really don't want to. I love my shorts and dresses =/ )

Anyways today I (froze) wore one of my favorite dresses!

Dress: Free People

I was in a big rush this morning, so only one picture, and my dog's head is in it. Sorry!

This is Free People's Desert Rose dress, I bought it around Christmas two years ago but I still really like it. Almost got it in blue but I'm pretty happy with the pink/red color.

If you don't know yet, I'm a little obsessed with floral prints. My closet is a garden. So I'm sorry if I burn your eyes out with all my flowers.

Today was great! My mom is making carrot cake (MY FAVORITE KIND OF CAKE) and we won our water polo game by 8 points. Unfortunately I was also grabbed in the chest and it looks like I have a huge hickey. In case it appears in any pictures, let me just get my two cents in: It is not. A girl grabbed me and tried to drag me by my chest It really hurt.

But its ok. I kicked her later.

Maxi-Dress Monday

Hey dollies,

so maybe I'm just a freak but there's something I really like about maxi-dresses. At not quite 5'4 I feel short almost 100% of the time. But this baby makes me feel tall! And powerful. If I ever became ruler of the world, I'd wear a maxi-dress to work every day.

This is what I wore on this fine Monday!

Top: J. Crew (it was my mothers but she didn't like it. Luckily for me, I love it)
Skirt: Forever 21
Shoes: Rainbows

Apart from it being a maxi-skirt, I really like the bright blue color of it. Since the shirt has embellishments around the neckline I decided not to wear much jewelry, just some gold plate earrings (which I didn't get any good pictures of. Sorry!)

And since yesterday was a Sunday, here's my new nail polish of the week:

Pearls on Teal

Hey dolls! Hope you are all having a lovely Tuesday. We just won our second water polo game :)

So this morning I wore a button down shirt with a tie and some high-waisted denim shorts. The shirt actually has a tail in the back, so it goes down low in the back but is short in the front (think of it as a high-low shirt...) but because I thought that would look awkward with my short shorts, I tied up the tail and tucked the tip of it into my shorts!!

Oxblood and Lace

My favorite fall trend is OXBLOOD.

It is the hottest color I've ever seen; I'm completely obsessed. So flattering! And kind of sexy. I finally understand the term "the new black" (can't you imagine a little oxblood dress? So hot).

Hello Houndstooth

Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a great week; halfway done! Just a few more days until the weekend (can't wait!)

I woke up grumpy this morning :( and the weather has matched my mood. Thank goodness I was wearing jeans. Hanging around friends actually really lifted me up, I was much happier by the time lunch started. The weather, however, only got worse...

Hey dolls! So my wonderful water polo coach let us out super early this morning after practice... So I'm sitting at school 20 minutes early with nothing to do! Started this post, decided I might as well finish it :)

I took these pictures last night because I have practice before and after school, but this is what I'm wearing to school today :)

I'm obsessed with the dress! I put it on and felt like a motorcycle girl... So I added a leather jacket and combat boots. I feel like a total badass... I just need a sick chopper! (I'm also wearing "chopper" shade of my naked 2 palette to go with the theme...)

The only thing I'm not crazy about are my earrings. They're cute, but really heavy and get stuck in my hair.


Heavenly Couture is a really cool store, every single item is only 15 dollars. Can you believe that this dress was this cheap? One of my teammates asked if it was from Topshop!

Lazy Labor Day/ My Summer Purse

Hey dolls! Happy labor day! Whether you're barbequing (is that a verb?), at the beach, or just resting at home, I hope you all feel fabulous :)

Lucky little senior that I am, my labor day mostly consists of homework! Fortunately, I will be saved from spending my holiday completely indoors and will be going out with a friend.

It's really hot here today, so the denim jacket is not entirely necessary but I feel that it dresses down the tight skirt and adds a little more grunge to the look. I also think the utility-denim-jacket goes nicely with the chain link necklace.

I also wanted to show off my bracelete; I wear this pretty much every day so don't be surprised to see it in most of my posts.

Since summer is now officially ending, I also wanted to show you all the bag I had been carrying around all summer. My mother always lets me help pick out her purses... I try to pick ones that I like, because next year when she gets a new bag I get the hand-me-down. I'd been waiting for this one for a while! I love the color! And it's the perfect size; probably my favorite bag that I own.
